An evolution in name, not in nature: From Storm Creative to Storm Agency
For nearly 30 years, we were known as Storm Creative. Here, we explain why we changed our name to Storm Agency, a name that encapsulates exactly who we are and where we're going.
A change three decades in the making
Since we opened our doors in 1997, the name Storm Creative quietly grew an award-winning reputation. A reputation based on lasting client relationships, high-quality work and an approach that – ironically – went beyond “just creative”.
Strategy grounded in commercial insight. Comprehensive digital marketing optimised for every channel and audience. Websites built to perform. Content that cuts through. Brands built from the ground up.
Our offering has been broad for many years, even if our name didn’t fully reflect it. But in 2025, something changed, encouraging us to embrace a name that truly captures who we are and what we do today.

In 2025, we launched Storm Studio; a purpose-built, physical studio space that sits alongside our agency, made to fulfil our clients’ need for impactful, engaging video content.
The introduction of Storm Studio marked a natural evolution of our business, but also introduced a new layer to how we operate. And that made it even more important to distinguish this offering from our longstanding marketing and advertising services.
Storm Agency delivers that clarity. It allows us to talk about our agency for what it is – a strategically-led, full-service marketing partner – while giving Storm Studio the space to stand on its own as a dedicated content production environment.

Storm Agency: Defining what we’ve been doing for years
Our switch from Storm Creative to Storm Agency was an opportunity to clarify just how extensive and versatile our services had become over the past three decades.
What started as a small team of ambitious, hungry content marketers has evolved into a multi-disciplinary team of specialists across all aspects of strategy, creative and digital execution.

Experts who combine their specific skills and knowledge to produce marketing that builds brands, drives sales and delivers real measurable results. Bold advertising campaigns, powerful website development, captivating social media marketing, full-scale video content production – we were doing so much more than our name would suggest.
In particular, the introduction of our Digital Landscape® packages – made to maximise and maintain a brand’s online performance through joined-up digital marketing – also led our “Creative” moniker to become increasingly dated.
Storm Agency expresses what we do much more accurately. We are an end-to-end, full-service marketing partner, giving our clients the insight, strategy and execution to achieve their goals both online and offline.

This isn’t a rebrand in the fullest sense of the word, because nothing about what we do has changed. We still immerse ourselves in our clients’ worlds to uncover opportunities. We still question and challenge everything. We still deliver digital and creative services that help businesses stand out, scale up, and be the best in their space.
Nothing about what we do will change – we just now have the name that reflects it.
Storm Studio: Content production done properly
The catalyst for this change, Storm Studio was built to be a fully-equipped space where quality content could be produced efficiently and effectively, whether that’s a full campaign shoot, a podcast series, or a set of team headshots.

As the demand for video content grew over time across all our clients, the disjointed process of different locations, suppliers and schedules took a toll on their time and bank accounts. Storm Studio sought to simplify that.
Our in-house studio facilities offer three flexible spaces to accommodate any form of content production:
- Our Film Studio: A fully soundproofed infinity curve cyclorama space built for high-impact visual work, where we shoot everything from brand films and digital adverts, to a full suite of social media content.
- Our Podcast Studio: A purpose-built, acoustically treated environment designed for professional-grade audio and video recording, fully customisable to our client’s branding.
- Our Lifestyle Studio: An adaptable, styled environment tailored for product shoots and content that requires a more natural, lived-in feel – from hair and beauty to a built-in kitchen area for cooking tutorials.

Together, these spaces allow us to film and edit high-impact content in-house, without the limitations that often come with external studios. Since its introduction, Storm Studio has hosted a wide range of content shoots, including:
- Hair colour campaign shoots and demos
- Solicitor-led podcast series
- Product photography for luxury suit linings
- Estate agent interviews
- Exercise demonstrations for a Pilates studio
- Online courses for therapy services
We’ve even had the pleasure of hosting podcast sessions featuring names like Nigel Benn and Darren Barker.
Fundamentally, Storm Studio is the place for better-quality, streamlined video content, photography and podcast production. Two sides, two names
For the longest time, Storm Creative worked because it covered everything under one banner.
It brought us to where we are today and became a name that brands both locally and further afield came to associate with quality, commercial-focused solutions. A name that won awards and established us as one of the highest-ranked agencies in the UK.

Storm Creative has been and always will be a huge part of our story. But Storm Agency and Storm Studio represent our present and future.
Two connected yet separate entities – a strategic, full-service marketing partner, and a purpose-built production space for video content – with distinctive identities that enable them to thrive both together and independently.
What hasn’t changed is our approach and our expertise. We’ve always delivered smart marketing that achieves strong outcomes across multiple disciplines. That hasn’t shifted with our name change, and it won’t.
Instead, it has allowed us to add clarity and strength to our offering that we believe will carry us forward for the next 30 years and beyond.
Storm Creative started our journey. Storm Agency is where we are today.
